Bible deliveries shock soccer-mom...

"A longtime practice at a Lebanon public school that allows fifth-graders to pick up Bibles delivered by a faith group may be scrapped.

Lebanon Special School District is reviewing the custom after a mom complained that a public school is no place for religion. Jessica Katz was outraged, she said, when her son came home last week with a red-covered New Testament in tow.

"I was shocked because the reality is that no religious text belongs in a public school at all. I was confused as to why it happened," said Katz, whose son attends Castle Heights Upper Elementary School in the city's small school district."

Oh for gods' sake stop with the drama already. Shocked, confused, is betrayed next? A simple, no-thanks would have sufficed.
