“Gates of Vienna” reports:

“Yesterday the U.S. Department of the Interior installed blocking software on their entire network. Gates of Vienna is now blocked, as are all sites with a blogspot URL. Also blocked are other conservative blogs, such as Wizbang… Little Green Footballs is also being blocked, but DailyKos is not”

Well now. Little Green Footballs is an anti-moslem blog, but hardly conservative in any other fashion. I haven't read Wizbang since it became an all-christian-news-all-the-time, blog, so perhaps, just perhaps, mind you, the effort is to block religious entities and not necessarily political ones. I'll have to check out Gates of Vienna and get back to this.

Okay, here's the list of blogs blocked and left open, courtesy of Gates of Vienna:

Blocked Blogs:
Captain’s Quarters
Cox and Forkum
Gates of Vienna
Little Green Footballs
Michael J. Totten
Michelle Malkin
Power Line
Protein Wisdom
Rantings of a Sandmonkey
Roger L. Simon
The Adventures of Chester
The American Thinker
The Belmont Club
The Doctor is In
Wizbang

Blogs not blocked
DailyKos
Democrat Underground
America blog
Atrios.blogspot.com
JuanCole.com
The Huffington Post
Talkingpointsmemo.com

So it isn't just religious ones, and this leads me to believe that there's a loon in the woodpile over at the Dept. of the Interior.
